When you are ready to become a Latin Image bride, we set up a client consultation that gives us insight into your daily routine, what your style is, and what you hope to achieve. We take this information and carefully consider which of our talented ladies would be the best fit for you and your party. This is based on numerous factors, their skill set, their personality, and their ability to create the look and taste you've specified.

That is where our trial services come in! During our client consultation, our stylists will discuss some of your ideas as well as our suggestions based on your hair type. They will consider the style of your dress, if you will be incorporating a blusher and veil, your hair, and most of all, what flatters you.

We will treat each lady in your party individually. We want everyone to feel their best. All wedding parties are different; some opt for a more consistent look asking that we keep their hair similar, and other brides allow their ladies the freedom to choose. During the trial, we can discuss your opinions on this matter and try to find something that can be done for your party while considering everyone’s hair type.

We rise to your hair challenge! We specialize in all hair types, from straight to kinky coily hair. Having been in this industry for as long as we have, we have gained a bit of experience. We can assure you that it is possible for you to have a beautiful style for your wedding day. Our client consultation will help us ensure we’re choosing the proper style and the proper stylist for your needs.

For our in-salon services or on-location services, we require a completed contract that reaches our service minimum, as well as a 50% deposit on services booked. This will be applied to your wedding day total. Although your date may be a far distance away, please remember that we book on a first come first serve basis. We accept cash and credit cards for deposit payments. Deposit Payment by credit card can be invoiced via email or taken over the phone at (301) 362-0001.

If you have naturally straight or wavy hair, we suggest shampooing your hair the night before your wedding/trial. It is easiest to work with if it is clean. If your hair tends to get oily and you would like to shampoo it the day of the appointment, that is fine too. 

A few very important things to remember are the following: your hair should have as minimal hair product as possible, such as leave-in conditioners or any other styling products. Your hair should also be air-dried or blow-dry only and should not have been touched with a flat iron or curling iron. Once you've used a hot tool on your hair it is very difficult for us to get it to do what we want. Please make sure your hair is dry in time for your appointment, as this can cause major time delays and an additional charge. If your hair is naturally curly, and your style requires it, the hair should be blow-dried straight, be mindful, blow dry only, hair should not have been touched with a flat iron or curling iron. 

We can also provide the blow-dry service for an additional charge. If you choose to blow-dry it yourself it is also perfectly fine too! Unfortunately, a formal style service does not include a blow dry as it is a separate service.

We actually caution against detailed service schedules. In our experience, they cause more stress than they are worth. If anyone comes in even 10 minutes late for their appointment time, that makes us wait 10 more minutes and essentially pushes you 10 minutes behind. Often, your ladies will need to grab something to eat, or to take a shower, they can without having to rush to be somewhere at exactly a certain time. Also, it is hard to allot specific times as we cannot predict each guest’s needs. Some looks require more time; someone

with thick or longer hair will take longer than someone with thinner hair, etc. We instead ask that you have a portion of your party there when we get started. We ask to have as many ladies in the room as there are stylists to get started. [Meaning, if we send 2 stylists, please have 2 ladies ready for us] This way we can work with flow, in a relaxed pace without running behind. I know it sounds like organized chaos, but trust us, it is much more relaxing, and we get everyone done much faster with less heart ache.

We serve the greater Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia areas. There is a travel fee of $1.75 per mile from Latin Image Salon. Pricing covers round-trip, parking fees, and tolls per artist.

We review your contract and timing and assign the number of stylists that you will need to be serviced within a 3.5 to 5.5-hour time block. Time blocked will depend on the number of guests being serviced, what time you need to be ready, and exactly what types of services everyone may be getting.

When we arrive for your wedding day, it is best if you and everyone in your party has clean hair that is dry and hasn’t been flat-ironed or curled. Remember, we do not allot time for a blowout in a formal style. Our girls will arrive with their own tables and chairs. All we’ll need is a space and access to a plug!

Our trial services are booked free-standing from our contract. We offer discounted trial appointments at our salon in Laurel, MD. Each trial is $125 for half up or $145 for all up, per service, and includes one and a half of your artist’s time, which is enough time for one look. We book these appointments during our salon hours. 

Please be advised that weekend availability can be limited. The stylist[s] who will be at your wedding will be the stylist[s] scheduled to perform your trial services. So grab a few inspiration photos, and let us know when you’re ready!

We send one hairstylist for up to 4 hair services; for parties of 5 or more, we send 2 hairstylists. We do not charge an additional fee to send the artist based on the numbers listed; however, if you would like to shorten the timeline of services [avg. 3.5-5.5 hours], assistant artists can be added for $100/per assistant based on availability. For weddings that require our team’s arrival before 8 am, there will be an early arrival fee of $40 every 30 minutes per artist applied.
